There are so many people who are instrumental in putting Make-A-Wish Weekend in Cape May County together.  Please take a minute to get to know some of them a bit better!

Rick Jones

Rick Jones is the originator of this two day event.  Make-A-Wish is Rick's favorite charity, because of the mission to help children who are very sick.  He generously donates his golf course and a tremendous amount of time to Weekend in Cape May County.  He believes that in the next few years, he will be able to fund all the wishes in the county with this single event.

Rick lives in Rehoboth DE with his supportive wife, Joan, two small children, Reed and Hunter and Ziggy, their dog. His family is his pride and joy!  Rick has been in the golf business his entire life.  He owns 2 golf courses, Cape May Par 3 & Driving Range and also Dover Par 3 & Driving Range.

Cindy Dietrich

Cindy has been a Make-A-Wish volunteer for over 8 years.  A soccer mom, she is the mother of four children,  PJ, Hanna, William and Suzi. She spends her time working on this event and helping to grant wishes.  Cindy has been a life long resident of Cape May County and lives with her husband, Paul, their children and a cat.

Scott Wahl

Scott Wahl has worked in the local radio market for 21 years, and is the News Director of WCZT-WILW-WSJQ radio stations, owned by Coastal Broadcasting Systems Inc.   He also pens a newspaper column for the Gazette Leader, "Off the Wahl".   He lives in North Cape May, with his wife Barbara and three dogs.
